You’ve probably heard about Intuit before, as it owns a popular accounting software called QuickBooks. CSV account from QuickenĬonvoluted for sure and I wish it was easier, but I can't come around to subscription software when I purchased the software already and it works the way I need it to and the company intentionally cripples it to force users to upgrade.Quicken is a personal financing tool, originally from Intuit, and an independent company since 2016. Move the transactions into the account and manually reconcile.CSV and delete the records that I already have in Quicken (Quicken does a blind transfer, doesn't delete duplicates.) Export account(s) to CSV using the link on the bottom right corner of each account's page.

So my procedure right now for accounts that Mint supports: The only way to continue to use Quicken is to import CSV files.

Mint also doesn't allow manual account entries - accounts must be linked to a supported online web banking service meaning I can't manually enter in PCF data. That means Mint cannot ever have a complete record of my finances. However, PC Financial (PC Mastercard) will apparently never be on the system because PCF for whatever reason, will not share data with Mint. But I haven't found a fully Canadian-compatible app to replace Quicken. I like Quicken - the data is pretty much offline in the sense that I'm not dependent on a single cloud service to store my aggregated financial records.
